Welcome aboard Martins touring Coach for departure from Lavington Shopping Centre at 7.00am, Albury Railway Station 7.15am, Wodonga Plaza, Smythe Street at 7.30am and Wangaratta, Perry Street Bus Stop at 8.25am for our 4 day Autumn tour to the spectacular Tesselaar ‘KaBloom’ Festival of Flowers and the Yarra Valley. We spend the afternoon discovering the unique artworks of sculptor and painter Bruno Torfs. Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden is a lush rainforest filled with amazing life-size sculptures, hand-crafted and fired in his kiln and inspired by his journeys to some of the world's most intriguing and remote regions. If time permits, we’ll visit Steavenson’s Falls. An easy walk takes us to an awe-inspiring view of one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls. Plummeting 84 metres the falls have been a favourite since the 1860’s. Continue to our overnight accommodation a short distance away.

Established in 1863 as a stopover for diggers on the way to nearby goldfields, by the 1920’s Marysville had evolved into a popular honeymoon and resort town. Mostly destroyed in the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires the close-knit community has worked together to re-build the town. We’ll begin our day at the Marysville Information and Regional Artspace (MIRA) Here we’ll be welcomed by the volunteers and take a wander through the gallery and retail space stocking locally made artisan wares and produce. It’s now time to sit back and relax as our journey takes us along the spectacular Black Spur Drive where we break for morning tea from the coach at Maroondah Reservoir and marvel at the wonderful views from the walls of the dam. For lunch we make our way to a farm with a difference. Rayners Orchard in nearby Woori Yallock grows over 450 varieties of fruit! Farmer Len or one of his sons will take us on a tractor tour which allows us to easily explore this environmentally sustainable orchard whilst sampling varieties of the different fruit that are ripe at this time of the year.A short distance away we find Warratina Lavender Farm situated in tranquil surroundings at the foothills of Mt. Dandenong. The Farm began as a hobby in 1991 with a small plot of lavender grown in an old cherry orchard. Over the years it has gradually expanded to over 10,000 lavender plants and we can stroll amongst the rows of different species. There is also a wide range of home-grown lavender products and gifts available in the shop for us to browse.
With our day complete we make our way to our accommodation in Forest Hill.

Following breakfast take the scenic route through to Belgrave. A trip to the Dandenong's would not be complete without a journey aboard the iconic Puffing Billy Steam Train. Boarding at Belgrave Station we take a memorable journey through the picturesque Sherbrooke Forest and over the iconic Trestle Bridge before pulling into Lakeside Station.
On arrival find the picturesque Emerald Lake Park and Lakeside Visitor Centre nestled amongst towering rainforests and cool fern gullies. Take a wander through Lakeside Hall - home to a collection of expertly curated steam artifact displays including a replica of Puffing Billy Railway's first ever locomotive and enjoy lunch here (own expense). We now head to the Tesselaar Tulip Farm for the incredible KaBloom Festival of Flowers where we will be treated to a visual spectacular with sensational fields and colourful blooms. Breathtaking views and photo opportunities abound in the fields with delightful Delphiniums, fascinating Foxgloves, super Snap Dragons, beautiful Begonias, zingy Tinnia, heart-warming Hollyhocks, sizzling Salvia, darling Dahlias, cool Cosmos and plenty more!

Sadly, our tour must come to an end today. Our first stop is Coombe Yarra Valley at Coldstream. Once the home of Operatic Icon Dame Nellie Melba, today Coombe Cottage is one of the most unique gourmet and cultural destinations the Yarra Valley has to offer. We’ll soak in the surroundings of this stunning location while enjoying Devonshire Tea.From Coldstream we make our way to Alowyn Gardens, which started life as a blackberry infested paddock. Designed with shade and comfort in mind, the gardens have been developed into six distinct areas and for those who love a beautiful garden, it will bring enjoyment as well as an educational experience. Following lunch here we begin our journey home arriving back in to Albury approximately 6.30pm
