Welcome aboard as we depart Lavington Shopping Centre Griffith Road at 7.45am, Albury Railway Station 8.00am and Wodonga Plaza 8.15am for our 2 Day Silo Art Trail Tour to the Northeastern Region of Victoria and an unforgettable journey through the indigenous history of Bullanginya Dreaming in Barooga
Travel via the Hume Highway to Benalla – morning tea (own expense) then follow the Goorambat, Devenish, St James & Katamatite Silo Trail.
Enjoy lunch at the Devenish Railway Hotel before continuing to Barooga for Bullanginya Dreaming experience arriving 4.30 – 5.00pm.
Firstly though, at 6.30pm this evening we enjoy a scrumptious 2 course bistro meal in the Ambrosie Room at The Sporties Bistro.
After dinner we walk along the tranquil banks of Bullanginya Lagoon in Barooga to be amazed at ‘Bullanginya Dreaming, an immersive experience featuring a mesmerizing laser light show. It’s the only permanent installation of its kind in Australia ,beautifully blending Bangerang Indigenous insights with the elemental forces of light, water and fire, recreating a captivating spectacle that transcends time.
Bullanginya Dreaming WON FIRST PLACE in the Storytelling category at the 2024 Blooloop Innovation Awards beating the likes of Disney.
More than just a visual feast, Bullanginya Dreaming is deeply rooted in community involvement and cultural empowerment, aiming to strengthen the bond between the local community and its indigenous heritage.

DAY 2
BAROOGA – ALBURY THURSDAY 30TH APRIL
After a hot cooked breakfast this morning at The Sporties Club, we have a leisurely guided tour of the facilities in daylight before heading back into Victoria.
Here we meet the friendly folk at Australia’s largest cactus garden at CACTUS COUNTRY – for a self-guided tour, talk and morning tea. Learn more about this little piece of Mexico and the plants as you explore the 12 acres of garden and stroll the sandy trails that wind their way through Cactus Country
From here we continue onto Koonoomoo and ‘The Big Strawberry” for light lunch and enjoy a tour through the facility highlighting the production area, history room and wine tasting.
Continue to Yarrawonga Weir Bridge Park for a vibrant and heartfelt presentation by a local who lives and breathes tourism.
Return to your home destination after two fascinating days touring the North East arriving approximately 6.00pm.
