DAY 1

ALBURY - DUBBO SUNDAY 17TH JANUARY, 2027
Welcome aboard Martins touring Coach for departure from Wodonga Plaza Smythe Street 6.45am, Albury Railway Station 7.00am, Lavington Shopping Centre Griffith Road Bus Stop at 7.15am and Corowa River Street Bus Stop at 8.15am for our special Boot Scootin Tour to Tamworth for the Country Music Festival.
We meet our fellow adventurers this morning and then hit the road. It's too far to drive straight through to Tamworth, so today we are heading to Dubbo. Our morning stop will be in Junee before stopping at the Parkes Services Club for lunch. This afternoon travel to our overnight accommodation in Dubbo for check-in and relax before our welcome dinner in the motel.

DAY 2

DUBBO - TAMWORTH MONDAY 18TH JANUARY
We begin our morning touring at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo - home to more than 1100 animals from around the world, many of them endangered species. The zoo is in the unique position to allow many of the animals to roam freely and to be viewed without the visual barriers of fences, bars or glass, instead using a system of dry and water filled moats. A zookeeper will step onboard our coach and explain the open range layout and some of the behind-the-scenes operations of the Zoo. Enjoy lunch here before continuing our journey on to Tamworth where we check into our hotel. We have some free time this afternoon before we meet again over dinner.

DAY 3

TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL TUESDAY 19TH JANUARY
This morning, we travel to Oxley Lookout, which offers a superb vantage point over the city and rich Peel Valley. After taking in the spectacular views, we visit the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame and learn the story of Australian country music. The museum contains fascinating exhibits and brilliant displays of memorabilia from legendary artists such as Tex Morton and Slim Dusty to new stars like Keith Urban and Kasey Chambers. Next, we enter The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre, a tribute to the rich music heritage. Make sure you get the full experience by visiting the National Guitar Museum and the Gallery of Stars Wax Museum, both located inside the centre. This afternoon the Tamworth Country Music Festival will be in full swing. The mixture of country music is endless during the 10-day festival with over 700 performers across 2,800 shows.
Your time at the festival is at leisure so join in the celebrations!

DAY 4

TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSICAL FESTIVAL WEDNESDAY 20TH JANUARY
The Tamworth Country Music Festival is an unforgettable festival experience like no other! Today we have a full day at the festival. Soak up the atmosphere and country music.

DAY 5

TAMWORTH - ORANGE THURSDAY 21ST JANUARY
Following breakfast, we farewell our hosts and head to the old gold town Gulgong, which was once described as 'the hub of the world!' Gulgong was also the boyhood home of the author Henry Lawson who grew up at nearby Eurunderee and attended the "Old Bark School". He was inspired by the Gulgong goldrush days to write his poem "The Roaring Days". After a light lunch in the CWA Hall we visit the Gulgong Pioneers Museum, one of the best-known folk museums in New South Wales. Explore this vast museum, uncovering the history behind the miner's cottage, doctor's surgery, Cobb & Co Inn and much more! Following a great day, we continue on to Orange where we can settle in for the night.

DAY 6

ORANGE - ALBURY FRIDAY 22ND JANUARY
After a memorable festival experience we commence our drive back to Albury. Today we will look at the Grenfell Silo Art before heading to the picturesque Jugiong to enjoy our farewell lunch at the Sir George Hotel. This afternoon we arrive back in Albury and return home with wonderful memories.
