ITINERARY

Welcome aboard Martins Touring Coach for our day tour to Tocumwal - a historic town surrounded by Australia’s richest agricultural region with many fine examples of colonial architecture now listed by National Trust. On arrival, enjoy morning tea at The Drome Café at the Tocumwal Aviation Museum, an engaging tourism attraction where you can discover the significant and SECRET wartime history and heritage of a centenary of aviation here at Tocumwal. Next follow the Murray River with its wonderful riverside scenery to Byramine Homestead and Brewery. The Byramine Homestead was built in 1842 and classified by National Trust due to its unique design. Today, hear the amazing story of how Hamilton Hume built his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hume the first homestead in country Victoria. A delightful Ploughman’s lunch will be served as an alternate with our vegetable quiche accompanied by a bountiful salad followed by a dessert of rich chocolate cake and cheesecake served as alternates with seasonal fruits and Chantilly cream. Coffee and Tea included. Lunch will be served at 1.00pm following your informative talk and tastings in the Brewery.
Our return journey takes us via the Victorian side stopping at Yarrawonga for a short break (time permiting) arriving Albury approximately 5.00pm / 5.30pm
